Voucher Applications are now available for anyone that purchased electric hookups from Walnut Valley Association that had to re-purchase electric services from another area or were unable to get electric service after being relocated from the Winfield Fairgrounds. Also anyone that paid Walnut Valley Association for camping and had to re-purchase camping may request an application to be considered for a voucher.
After discussion with all organizations involved, it has been decided that campers who were forced to move from the Winfield Fairgrounds to alternate campground locations prior to the start of the 2016 Walnut Valley Festival may submit requests for a voucher to receive 2017 festival credit for extra expenses incurred as a result of this inconvenience. The request for vouchers will be considered on an individual basis, using information received and Walnut Valley records.

The Walnut Valley Association and the City of Winfield are continuing to pursue options for campers from the previous Walnut Valley Festival that were forced to relocate from the Winfield Fairgrounds just prior to the start of this year’s festival. A meeting to have been this week with the City of Winfield had to be rescheduled due to a conflict and is expected to take place next week.
