Organizer of the Elkin Thomas Golf Scramble Passes

Overland Park, Kansas... The Walnut Valley / Elkin Thomas Golf Scramble was held for the 21st year this past September. Felix Baz-Dresch has been the person behind the scene, working each year to assemble the event connected with the Walnut Valley Festival. Sad to say, we have received word of the passing of Felix at the age of 79 years young. Felix was a true gem of a person with numerous interests. Along with golf, Felix loved music and was an accomplished banjo musician who enjoyed sharing this love with others, especially at the Walnut Valley Festival.
