General Information
You can find almost any food or drink you crave on the midway at Walnut Valley Festival. From pizza to pitas, from burgers to BBQ, we’ve got you covered. We also have stuff for your sweet tooth, including ice cream, funnel cakes and the like. We even have folks who make morning runs through the campgrounds, selling coffee and donuts right off the back of a wagon! There is a bit of change every year as we exchange some vendors for new ones, but you can count on seeing a variety of culinary options on the midway.
Application
Interested in operating a food concession at Winfield? We always look for different items to add to the menu of the usual hot dogs, hamburgers, Mexican food, etc. Festival attendees continually ask for healthy, non-fried food options. While we do not guarantee any vendor exclusive rights to a product, we do attempt to limit overlap to provide a variety for our attendees. Space available for concessions is outside, leaving it to the concessionaire to provide the booth facility. Electricity and water are available on grounds.
Applications will be available in January for the Festival in September. Deadline for submitting applications is March of each year.
Concession Prices must be clearly posted for menu items during the Festival. Please be specific about the size of your concession and area requirements. The concession areas are of definite size and there is no flexibility to change after a concession is approved. Food Concessions are expected to be set-up and ready to serve by the afternoon Wednesday, September 17, unless other arrangements have been made. Food Concessions are expected to be open for business until 11 PM each night during the Festival and until 2 PM on Sunday of the Festival.
